It was in 1790 that Doctor Zwack, Royal Physician to the Imperial Court, offered the Habsburg monarch a sip of Unicum as a remedy for indigestion.
Legend would have it that the royal comment was:
‘Dr. Zwack, das ist ein Unikum!’ giving this herb liqueur its name.
The fame and popularity of Unicum was gradually to spread far beyond the Court in Vienna.

Limoncello, the “Gold of Sorrento”, is the typical liqueur extracted from an infusion of PGI (protected origin certification) Sorrento lemon’s zests in pure alcohol and sugar that gives the distinctive, rich and lemon scented taste to the final product and according to the original Sorrento recipe. It’s a traditional spirit that you can relish, served at 4°-7°, in every moment of the day and in every season of the year.

The process begins with handpicking the finest small batched aged rums. Once selected, they are blended together under the watchful eye of the master blender and placed in small bourbon barrels (private casks) and aged again for 1 to 2 years. This “marrying” process allows the different rums to interact with one another and produce a more complex spirit. Next, the rum is removed from the private casks and rested for a few weeks in tempranillo barrels to settole and refine
Bottled by hand, each bottle is carefully inspected, approved and hand initialled by its creators before shipping
Clean and smooth with notes of creamy vanilla, white chocolate and citrus. The result is a white rum with no burn that allows the rum to showcase its flavour in citrus based cocktails such as the daiquiri, mojito etc.
