HASTINGS GIN
Hastings 1066 Gin (70cl, 40%). From Haswell & Hastings in Sussex. Above all, inspired by the sea. Firstly, a perfect blend of Coriander, Juniper, Angelica, Savory and Grains of Paradise. Also, sweet Lemon and Orange Citrus, Liquorice root, and tangy Gooseberry.
A distinct taste of sweet berries, that are soft and delicate to create a gin that has a truly balanced essence keeping tones of Juniper, Coriander and Angelica root as the traditional mainstay of botanicals.
Named after a certain battle!
CITY OF LONDON AUTHENTIC
The City of London Distillery situated in the heart of the City of London. This fantastic gin is made from a citrus forward selection of botanicals including: juniper, coriander seed, angelica root, liquorice root and fresh oranges, lemons and pink grapefruit. Now bottled at 41.3% and newly packaged in bottles inspired by St Paul’s Cathedral.
ETSU JAPANESE GIN
Japanese gin (Etsu means “pleasure”), elaborated following an ancient Asian recipe that uses botanicals from the Japanese islands including Yuzu, which predominates in the olfactory analysis: it is a small Japanese citrus fruit, very fragrant and persistent. On the nose, floral and citrus notes, with persistent yuzu; in the mouth it is fresh, well balanced, with hints of peppers, tea and green berries.
ETSU DOUBLE ORANGE JAPANESE GIN
Etsu Double Orange Gin is distilled at the Akita Distillery, in the Akita prefecture of Japan on the island of Honshu. Akita Prefecture is located on the coast of the Sea of Japan and extends east to the Ōu Mountains, the longest mountain range in Japan. It is from these mountains that Etsu Double Orange draws its fresh, fruity and light aromas.
L’ ACROBATE GIN
‘L’Acrobate’ by Les Bienheureux is a French gin from organic farming produced in small batches through a unique distillation process that the protagonists keep jealously secret. Perfect balance between freshness and fruit, classicism and exoticism, technique and poetry. The secret is the spirulina infusion, an emerald-colored seaweed with medicinal properties, which gives a fresh and iodized touch to the opulent bouquet of exotic fruits.
FISHERS GIN
Fishers is a London Dry Gin with a difference. All the botanicals go into our still to be steeped in our base spirit over night.Only then does the final distillation in our hand-built Copper Pot take place. This process enables us to use the one-shot method at the end of the distillation, meaning we take only the best, or the ‘Heart’ cut of the distillate. All of which combines to produce the most distinctive, flavoursome, full-bodied and aromatic coastal gin possible.
HERNÖ ORGANIC OLD TOM GIN
Hernö Old Tom Gin is made from the same distilled gin as Hernö Gin, but with an extra amount of Meadowsweet added in the distillation and after diluting it down to 43% we add a touch of sugar. The sweetening lifts the floral notes, releases an array of juniper and makes the gin even smoother.
Hernö Old Tom Gin is made from the same distilled gin as Hernö Gin, but tweaked the recipe and upped the dose of meadowsweet while also adding honey after distillation. The sweetness is apparent on the nose but comes to the fore when tasted. The soft mouthfeel and added honey is evident but also accentuates some of the distillery’s core floral characteristics. Meadowsweet and the lingon berries come though a little stronger than in the usual London Dry (to be expected, as one is increased in the recipe and the other responds well to sweetness) and the overall effect is a complex and intriguing Old Tom Gin.
Hernö Old Tom Gin is awarded as best world gin of 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and is the most awarded gin of Hernö distillery.
CITY OF LONDON SQUARE MILE GIN
